A MESSAGE ABOUT 4-HERB TEA TO VETS & DOG OWNERS
When I went to school to become an herbalist, I went with the intention of helping heal people. But being a life long animal lover, I suppose it was inevitable that my practice take this turn.
All along I seemed to be the most interested in 4-herb tea, sometimes called Essiac Tea that is used as a natural cancer treatment and general body detox for people. This is not anything I invented and it is a public formula. Anyone interested can do the research and figure it out. But most people find it easier to let me do it for them. I use only organic herbs and I measure each ingredient individually on a digital scale, each batch making one gallon of tea. Be careful to ask about this preparation if you buy it from anyone else. Most places make huge batches and then weigh out your portion. This does not keep the ratio correct as all of the herbs have different densities. I buy the herbs bulk and sell it more reasonably than anyone I have found.
After only a year working with human cancer patients, a client asked me if she could give it to her dog. After calling school and making sure no single ingredient was toxic to animals, we were off to the races and the rest is history. Now, at least half of my clients are dogs!
This does seem to work the best on older dogs that have the non-specific cancer growths. The growths should be surgically removed if prudent, and the tea started. Dogs love it as the tea tastes a little like grass. Some cats like it, others don’t. Many birds like it and we have had some success preventing recurring growths on birds.
Anyway, back to dogs. This tea will give your older dog with cancer an average of two more good years! The growths shrink and the animal feels better within a week.
The only cancer that doesn’t seem to hold to this rule are the lymphoma type cancers. These dogs seem to average 6 months and definitely have a better quality of life up until hours of the end.
There do not seem to be any adverse side effects. They only ones they warn about in school are possible loose bowels due to the liver cleansing action and I have not seen this happen to date.
I have lots and lots of stories and plenty of references.
